The Philadelphia Roentgen Ray Society (PRRS) is excited to announce the launch of Resident and Fellow Case Competitions aimed at recognizing and celebrating the clinical and academic work of our Radiology trainees across the Philadelphia area, the greater Delaware Valley, and southern New Jersey.
Guidelines:
Teaching case can be submitted in one of two categories:
Bread and Butter Cases for the Resident Competition: common entities essential for clinical practice;
Challenging Cases for the Fellow Competition: rare or complex entities of clinical interest.
Submissions should include a short Clinical History, Key Images (HIPPA-compliant), as well as Discussion including Teaching Points and the Final Diagnosis.
One resident and one fellow winner will each receive a $150 award. In addition, best cases from each radiology subspecialty will be displayed electronically at the PRRS meeting.
The winners will be invited to attend the designated PRRS meeting award ceremony in-person to receive the cash prize.
Submission implies that all authors consent to having their cases, if selected, published on the PRRS website and social media platforms.
